In previous lives -( ie. before
I came to the Ridge) I worked in a bank. I was interested in amateur wrestling,
and officiated as judge/referee at several Commonwealth and Olympic Games,
and world Titles. Although not judging, I was a volunteer at the wrestling
for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. My main job was as a "spotter".
I selected various actions on the mats to be shown on the large screen when
the wrestlers were called for the finals. I was also selected to carry the Olympic Torch, when it passed through the Ridge on its journey around Australia. P.S. I have now grown the beard again. |

| While I was mining, for a few years I was interested in breeding and showing basenjis. That's me with the beard, and the winter work clothes. A big change from the clean-shaven, white-collared routine of the banking world ! The heater and floor blanket are for the dogs' benefit, of course.. | |||||||||||||||
